Spike is approached by a couple who ask him to rescue their daughter from the Mosaic Wellness Center. After some persuasion, he acepts the job and checks himself into the facility. When he enters, he realises just how (in)famous he really is in the demon world.

When the Monahan Family asks Spike to find their daughter Ruby, he accepts. After all, it's a chance to be a hero and more importantly, earn a hefty fee. The problem? Ruby's a half-demon and has been checked into the Mosaic Wellness Center, a rehab facility for vampires, demons, and other creatures of the night. The solution–Spike checks himself in as a patient.
